Dr. Julia Martin Recognized For Service
The June meeting of the KY ITLS Steering Committee was a special
occasion.  Dr. Julia Martin, former Chapter Medical Director was
honored for her years of service to the State Chapter.  Jeanne Hosp,
Chapter Coordinator, and Dr. Craig Carter, current Chapter Medical
Director presented Dr. Martin with an award recognizing her for her
service.  
Dr. Carter stated, “We wanted to thank Dr. Martin for her all she has
done to make first
class trauma care in
Kentucky available to
every citizen.   “She
has worked tirelessly
to raise patient care to
the highest level
possible”.  

Jeanne Hosp also
thanked Dr. Martin for
her hard work and
years of service.  “Dr.
Martin has left some
very big shoes to fill,”
Jeanne stated.  “No
award can show how
much we appreciate all that you have done nor show how much we
miss you,” Jeanne added.  “We
wanted to give you something to say
“thank you” and we hope you like your award.”  

“Thank you all for the award.  It is beautiful and I can’t wait to put it on
my had time to do so,” Dr. Martin Commented.  “Even though I am
not acting as the medical director, I haven’t gone anywhere and you
are all welcome to come to me if I can do anything to help the
program,” Dr. Martin added.
